Business Development Representative - 525 Technologies

525 Technologies is an IT company that provides full solution services to schools in the Southeastern area. We are seeking a Business Development to join our team! The best candidate for this position will have the experience and knowledge to build relationships and close deals successfully while creating long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities : 1. Lead Generation :

1. Lead Generation :

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities for 525 Technologies within the target market.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industries.

2. Client Outreach :

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.
  • Communicate effectively to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.

3. Sales Presentations :

  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the unique value propositions of 525 Technologies' IT products and services.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns to build confidence in the company's offerings.

4. Relationship Building :

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in prospective client organizations.
  • Establish and maintain rapport to position 525 Technologies as a trusted and valuable partner.

5. Collaboration with Sales Team :

  • Work closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Provide detailed information and context to support smooth handovers.

6. Market Insights :

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Utilize market insights to tailor sales strategies and positioning for 525 Technologies.

7. Meeting Targets :

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion.
  • Regularly report progress to management through updates and performance metrics.

8. CRM Management :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and client interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Qualifications : 1. Education :

1. Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field desired but not required.

2. Experience :

  • 2+ years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with 525 Technologies' products, services, and solutions is a plus.

3. Communication Skills :

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

4. Technical Knowledge :

  • Basic understanding of IT solutions, software, and services.
  • Ability to grasp technical details and effectively communicate them.

5. Team Collaboration :

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.

6. Adaptability :

  • Willingness to adapt to the dynamic and evolving IT industry.
  • Ability to pivot strategies based on market changes.

7. Results-Driven :

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving business growth for 525 Technologies.
