Openwork is working with a manufacturing company in Round Rock, TX that is looking for a Production Activity Coordinator .

As a Production Activity Coordinator , you will be working on tasks that include assembling electronic component subassemblies and products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Review daily material inventories and analyze MRP data for accuracy. Communicate any identified issues or discrepancies to Manufacturing Engineering and Document Control, and work with other Buyers / Planners to ensure material availability and clear-to-build reviews.
• Conduct follow-ups and audits of work orders, including sub-operations, to ensure proper closure and address any issues.

Monitor material usage and tools, notifying the supervisor of any anomalies.

Oversee and manage the materials needed for production, ensuring all kits are organized in sequence and that materials are used correctly.

Print travelers and labels as per the schedule and regulatory requirements

• Review and track the production plan alongside the Planner / Buyer and Supervisor, ensuring that material management and production schedules align with operational objectives.
• Assist the Planner / Buyer with daily activities, including providing accurate information on work-in-process inventories to help maintain the production schedule and address any discrepancies.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS :

• Verifies basic numerical data for accuracy.
• Performs basic calculations and applies the results.
• Continuous improvement of the planning and scheduling function.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES :

• BA / BS degree preferred.
• Three (3) years relevant work experience using MRP applications.
• Capable of managing company-wide key supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of production and procurement procedures required.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• NAPM / APICS certification preferred.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Frequent sitting.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Travel required.
• Work in a manufacturing environment.

P AY :

$18-22 / hr. (DOE)

H OURS :

7am - 4pm M-F (some mandatory Saturday's)
