About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Georgia or Compact License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Previous charge experience preferred

Patient ratio experience : 3

Description :

SENSITIVE UNIT : Please ensure candidate has reviewed all details in Unit / Job description.

Pre and post recovery for radiology and interventional radiology department including ultrasound and CT.

Diagnoses include but are not limited to chronic kidney disease, post organ transplant, radiation oncology, and chronic hepatic / biliary disease.

Weekends required every other week.

No call required.

Floating within facility and scope of practice is required as needed.

Clinical screening will determine candidate clinical fit.

If clinically accepted, the candidate will be sent to the manager for a final decision.

Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days.

If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.

If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

Travelers must have the necessary documentation to ensure an on-time start.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.

Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census averages around 14 patients.

The number of beds in the unit is 11.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy.

Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary labs promptly after signing the contract.

Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation, varying by specialty.

Modules are recorded via transcripts.
