CMT Project Manager / Engineer (PE)

NOVA Engineering is immediately seeking a CMT Project Manager / Engineer (PE) in our Ft Lauderdale, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include :

• Project coordination and project management of Special Inspection and Construction Materials Testing work
• Providing oversight of field staff
• Project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & report review for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects
• Field inspection, such as foundation inspections, proofrolling, subgrade evaluations, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company
• Will work with Metafield on a daily basis

The preferred candidate will have :

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in construction testing / inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and / or asphalt materials is required
• Successfully passing the PE exam is required
• Strong communication skills
