Job Description :
We hope your company can help fill a need in our City of Phoenix IT PMO. We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to help with several high-visibility IT projects within the City of Phoenix and will interact with our growing team of 35 PMs and BAs, as well as various departments within the City of Phoenix.
Below are the essential functions and qualifications that outline the role they will fulfill on our team Essential functions :
- Facilitate discussions with various City of Phoenix Department personnel to document requirements and specifications, including intended outcomes, features, and functionality.
- Develop and document functional specifications associated with system enhancements.
- Ensure clarity of documented requirements to prevent scope creep, gold plating, or non-value-added activities.
- Document business requirements according to industry best practices and City of Phoenix PMO processes.
- Document functional workflow diagrams to capture business goals and high-level scope.
- Coordinate project deliverables with the Project Manager, including project meeting scheduling, activity tracking, status report creation.
- Demonstrate superior customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity
