SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY :
The High School District Math Instructional Coach will provide strategic instructional support to building-level Instructional Leadership Teams via professional development, walkthroughs, model lessons, data analysis and lesson development training.
In addition, the High School District Math
Instructional Coach will provide additional curriculum resources. This is a full-time, 10 monthposition and will report directly to the Math and Science (STEM) Coordinator.
Candidates should have experience in teaching and modeling effective, research-based instructional practices; designing and building curriculum;
developing assessments and analyzing student performance data; and creating, organizing, and leading professional learning experiences for instructional leaders and teachers.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategic instructional support to building level coaches, administrators, andteachers via professional development, walkthroughs, model lessons, data analysis andlesson development training.
Builds the capacity of school teams by developing and implementing standards-based, content-specific pacing guides and instructional materials
Serve as liaison for digital learning platforms.

On a regular day, as High School District Math Instructional Coach, you might :
Conduct walkthroughs and observations with building level coaches to provide support fortheir teachers
Develop content-specific pacing guides to share with school teams
Lead a professional development session with coaches focused on the implementation of instructional materials

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Deemed Highly Qualified in accordance with the Indiana Department of Education or their last state of employment
Deep mathematical content knowledge with a minimum of 3-5 years of successfulclassroom teaching experience and working with otherteachers
Instructional coaching experience (preferred)
Professional development planning and facilitation experience (preferred) FLSA CLASSIFICATION :
