Employee Type : Summer Internship (up to 40 hours per week @ $20 / hr.) The Lynx Specialty Underwriting Intern will work alongside a diverse team, to assist and support the Underwriting team.
Essential Duties / Functions : Receive training to assist in the underwriting of property insurance. Review and analyze reports to make informed underwriting recommendations.
Support underwriters with coordinating and processing polices. Participate on special projects, as assigned. Qualifications : A current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Risk Management & Insurance, or a similar field.
Two years of course work completed towards a degree (Junior or Senior) would be preferred. Minimum GPA to apply is a 3.0 on a scale of 4.

Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality. Additional Information This is NOT a remote position. You must live in the United States (Cincinnati, OH area) and be authorized to work in the United States without requirement of employment sponsorship / visa.
