Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity Near Lincoln, NE

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in a hospital setting near Lincoln, NE. This role is available ASAP and offers a chance to join a well-supported team providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of procedures.

Position Overview :

  • Profession : Physician

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday

Hours : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM or 8-hour shifts are available

  • Setting : Hospital

    • Annual Surgeries : Approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries each year

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform anesthesia for various procedures including orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, and gastric bypass surgeries.
  • Handle minimal vascular cases, with no pediatric cases involved.
  • Work independently with backup support from an onsite anesthesiologist.
  • Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS
  • State License : Must be licensed in Nebraska, or willing to obtain licensure.
  • Experience : Must be comfortable handling a variety of cases with a focus on independent work.
