Responsibilities :
- Meeting with patients to take their medical history and examine their files to provide them with the best surgical options
- Outlining all the risks and benefits associated with the surgery before the procedure
- Preparing patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Prescribing medication and providing aftercare to patients
- Handling various administrative duties like updating patient records and clinic policies
Requirements
- A degree in medicine and a medical license in the state of Iowa
- Completion of a residency program
- Additional courses and training in cosmetic surgery
- Years of practical experience in surgery
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and impeccable bedside manner
