We seek an engineering professional who will support work in the design, deployment, operations and maintenance of traffic management systems.
Work will include planning and executing intelligent transportation systems (ITS) tasks and projects, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers and customers, and performing in accordance to deadlines and budget constraints.
DUTIES :
- Participate in developing, delivering, and trouble-shooting technical solutions for systems projects.
- Interface with traffic controllers, network switches, computer systems, ATMS, and other ITS devices.
- Prepare technical deliverables and participate in project teams.
- This position requires both on-site work in Miami, FL, and field assignments.
- Build and maintain customer relationships while collaborating with technical teams.
- Support for bid and proposal generation.
- Represent Econolite as a proactive customer service and quality ambassador.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 3+ years of experience in education or work; Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Technical competence in system engineering principle and practices.
- Experience with Centracs and other Econolite products is a plus.
- Highly motivated and self-disciplined.
- Interest in Traffic Engineering or Transportation.
