Equipment Technician 2 needed in Chanhassen, MN!
7am - 4pm

Monday - Friday)
Pay range : $19.50-28.50 / hr
Direct hire opportunity - no time spent on contract!
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the offline, auxiliary bindery / finishing equipment, and web presses
- Perform routine, scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, replacement of worn parts, adjusting belt tension, knife grinding, etc.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for part as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of small / light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment
- Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts
- Able to troubleshoot issues with equipment issues that are not readily apparent or where manufacturer supplied manuals are not available
- Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to interpret instruction manuals
- Very good knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment serviced
