YOUR ROLE
- Provide sales support to the MyDentity, Sexy Hair brands.
- Have a strong understanding of all four MSDS brands.
- Identify growth opportunities for brands within designated market.
- Achieve quarterly KPI / target activities established by company to support positive sellout growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributor partner team members.
- Conduct field activities, education, customized promotions and events for growth support across brands.
- Execute successful store and street education events including Interactive Demos, In-Salon Classes, and Sales Meetings
- Manage time, resources, travel, and expense budget for overall territory.
- Identify and target key salons, chains and beauty supplies in geographical area and development of activities to gain business.
- Work with Sales Director in executing Regional Shows and Distributor classes.
- Work with multiple distributor customers. Store staff and Field Teams : District Store Managers, Store Associates and Street Teams including Field Sales and Management teams.
- Plan, coordinate and / or conduct regular trainings (virtual or live) for key account staff members.
- Host Key Account team visits within designated territory to enhance their knowledge and create awareness of new trends and promotions.
- Plan and conduct regular sales and education meetings with distributor partners, sales consultants, and management. Take the lead on securing space in key meetings, negotiate pricing and build customized presentations.
- Team Trainer : Sr. BDM’s will have enhanced brand training on NPI’s and act as team trainers for their fellow BDM team members.
Providing enhanced support for technical questions and being the liaison between brand and the sales team to get the information and answers needed.
- Take on special projects to support their Sales Director.
- Serve as a liaison between Integrated Marketing and Sales to ensure the creation and execution of bi-monthly sales material that can be utilized in the field.
- Lead Loyalty efforts amongst all brands for the Sales Team.
- Serve as the point of contact for team events ensuring guidelines are adhered too and deadlines are met.
YOUR SKILLS
- Experienced Sales Manager with 5+ years in the beauty industry.
- Degree preferred but not required with strong industry experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset within corporate guidelines.
- Solution-oriented, working with Distributor Buyers, Managers, and Sales Team.
- Excellent presentation and strategic planning skills, strong analytical abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and residence in Southeast, preferably Texas.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; social media savvy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Up to 50% travel required, subject to change based on seasonal activities.
The salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
