About The Position
Job Title : Registered NurseJob Specialty : NICU Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 3 years required License : Must have appropriate licensing and certifications in hand prior to application Certifications : BCLS, NRP Must-Have : Vents, NICU IV skills, 18 months of experienceJob Description : - Work in a state-of-the-art NICU caring for babies requiring medical attention, including prematurity and mixed acuity.
- Opportunity for first-time travelers.- Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.- Required to have appropriate licensing and certifications.
- Care for mixed acuity babies requiring surgical and medical care and advanced therapies such as ECMO.- Engage with multiple ancillary support services and access a milk bank for infant care.
- Participate in a 12-hour orientation.- Flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions available.- Must work at least two out of three major holidays during the contract period.
- Complete online learning modules pre-start, averaging 6-12 hours.- University attended must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation time.
