We are looking for a Senior Manager of Engineering to join our Clinician Experience Clinicals product engineering team. As a senior manager, you will partner with Product to drive the success and evolution of key areas of our entire product line.

The Team :

Our athenaClinicals team builds code that matters, working on the doctors’ workflows that is used by healthcare providers daily.

We develop workflows that prioritize the doctor & patient interactions and give doctors more time doing what attracted many to medicine in the first place : providing patient care.

Job Responsibilities

Drive planning and execution for multiple scrum teams, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives

Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made

Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow

Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continual improvement

Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the "why" behind decisions

Assist Product Owners and Technical Procuct Managers to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion

Identify and drive areas of opportunity on the clinician experience teams to improve the product, our teams, and our people

Typical Qualifications

5+ years leading teams in a technical environment

Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems

Proficiency in programming languages such as : Java, Python, JavaScript / jQuery, C#, C++, Perl

Experience leading teams in an agile environment

Track record of growing your engineers and teams

Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
