Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a member of our educational team, you will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students.
Responsibilities :
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Oregon state license (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children with various speech and language disorders.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging therapy environment for students.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
