Futures treats addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders using an evidence-based, holistic approach that integrates somatic medicine, psychotherapies, physical therapy, and wellness services.
Futures offers a comprehensive residential and detoxification program, the Orenda concierge program, the RISE adventure-based program, as well as outpatient services.
Futures emphasizes individualization, quality, compassion, continuing care, and alumni involvement.
Under general direction of the Director of Client Services and Transportation Manager, the transporter is responsible for taking patients and / or staff to assigned locations, maintaining cleanliness and safety of company vehicles, and reporting vehicle issues and dynamics to supervisor.
Responsibilities include :
- Transports clients / staff to and from various scheduled appointments
- Utilizes and maintains the company vehicles.
- Instructs and confirms the companys rules and regulations to new admissions.
- Evaluates vehicle safety and operation.
- Facilitates communication with all departments regarding transportation.
- Build positive relationships with staff and physicians.
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
- Follows Infection Control Guidelines at all times.
- Reports personal symptoms of suspected illness or contagious diseases to the Infection Control Nurse.
- Completes and forwards copy of Incident Reports and any other safety / risk issues immediately to the Director of Client Services.
- Answers and make business-related phone calls as needed.
- Adheres to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Attends in-service training, when necessary.
- Attitude demonstrates a positive approach and commitment reflecting professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and / or director.
Minimum Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED is a must.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Previous experience working in a chemical dependency residential or inpatient treatment program preferred.
