Position Overview :
As a CNC Machinist at Rose Machining, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machinery to produce precise components that meet stringent quality standards.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to take on new challenges and grow their skills.

Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture components according to engineering specifications and drawings.
- Follow defined processes to achieve close tolerances and ensure high-quality output across a range of component complexities.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and adjust tooling, machine parameters, and part programs to resolve production issues and optimize efficiency.
- Assist with the prove-out of new processes and provide feedback on potential improvements.
- Conduct secondary operations such as deburring, inspection, and routine maintenance of the work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and uphold Rose Machining’s standards of excellence.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and business operations.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational trade program or formal apprenticeship in machining preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machinery (lathes, mills, bedmills, VMC).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and advanced shop mathematics.
- Ability to perform minor G-Code edits at the machine and understand CNC programming basics.
- Experience with manual machining is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills are desirable for interfacing with machine controls and inspection documentation.
