PowerBI Engineer (Data Visualization, Reporting Design, Snowflake, SQL, Scripting)

Eden Prairie, MN - Remote

Experience with or understanding of HEDIS Star measures OR Experience with or understanding of the Medicare and Retirement and / or Community and State lines of business

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • ? Work with various stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs
  • ? Create and maintain systems and processes to transform raw data into insights
  • ? Develop and maintain BI reports
  • ? Create and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards
  • ? Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all BI solutions
  • ? Monitor and optimize the performance of BI tools and systems

Required Skills

  • ? Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • ? 5+ years of experience with PowerBI Reporting Design
  • ? 5+ years of experience in PowerBI Data Visualization / Dashboard development
  • ? 5+ years of experience with RDBMS and Snowflake
  • ? Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation, analysis and reporting
  • ? Proficiency in Scripting (Batch / Shell / Java Script).
  • ? Competent to work on complex projects independently
  • ? Ability to think strategically (outside-the-box) and provide creative solutions
  • ? Ability to frame problems and opportunities to present solutions.

    • Desired Skills

  • ? Experience with or understanding of HEDIS Star measures
  • ? Experience with or understanding of the Medicare and Retirement and / or Community and State lines of business
  • ? Working knowledge in Tableau, SSRS
  • ? Working knowledge in CD / CI and Github
  • ? Working knowledge in Python
