JOB SUMMARY :
This position serves the Dallas Stars by providing specialized marketing strategy, planning and implementation in social media, web, traditional marketing, and email marketing.
Additionally, this position will assist with marketing efforts with Stars merchandising and e-commerce. The incumbent is responsible for elevating the Dallas Stars' ability to execute the numerous social media platforms that are required on a daily and game-to-game basis.
The role necessitates a strong background in social and digital marketing as well as an inquisitive approach to keep up with the ever-evolving digital media landscape.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Assist in brainstorming, planning, and executing and report on social campaigns designed to integrate sponsors with digital channelsAssist Director of Marketing with brand marketing campaign concepts and take the lead on execution of marketing elementsDigital and social account management tasks including specs, digital reporting, screenshots and live links for social postsAssist in implementing advertising schedule within Dallas Stars team mediaAssist the Stars merchandise team with marketing and e-commerce effortTake high resolution photos and videos to support online and offline contentMarket Research;
Commercial Outreach, Sales & Marketing LeadsResponsible for creation of content, initiatives, giveaways, promotions, etc.
Responsible for cultivating community corporate partners via social media channelsAssist the Stars Marketing and Digital department in all their essential functions, providing support in the following areas :
Social MediaWebsiteMedia planningCopywritingProject ManagementCorporate sponsorship integration
Conduct independent research on specific business topics that arise over the course of the fiscal cycleStay up-to-date on digital industry trends and suggest improvements where possibleReport and communicate project status to members of the Marketing teamDesign and create social media templates, graphics, etc.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field or equivalent experience2-4 years of business intelligence experience within the sports industryExpertise and / or working knowledge of :
Adobe Creative SuiteMicrosoft Office ProductsPowerPointSocial Media platforms (Facebook, x, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Threads)Content Management Systems
