Shift : Nights / 6 : 45p-7 : 15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week. EOW

Length : 13 weeks (up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop))

Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays

PICC line management, IV starts, *Active RN license required. Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care / management, Isolation Precautions / PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson / Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care

• ACLS preferred
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre / Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries preferred
• Epic documentation experience

PCA. Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Blood product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral line care / management, phlebotomy.

JOB DETAILS : Target Ratios : 1 : 6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios)Shift : 12HR NIGHT. 36 or 48 hours accepted.

Contract Length : Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.

Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

RTO : 7 days MAXFloat Requirement : Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holdingWeekend Requirement : Traveler will be assigned to every other weekendHoliday Requirement : Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Severe injury to the bones, joints, and / or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain.

Neurological trauma / nerve damage (small population). Subdural hematoma.

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION : 12 hour unit orientation. 16 hour organizational education.

SCRUBS : Navy

INTERNAL NOTES Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
