As a supervisor, your primary purpose is to oversee daily operations within the department, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. .
- Setting Performance Goals : Establish performance goals and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision.
- Organizing Workflow : Ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Create team schedules and delegate responsibilities.
- Monitoring Employee Productivity : Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement plans to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications and skills :
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience, or a master’s degree and 5 years of related experiences (preferred).
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Familiarity with the Family History Library Catalog and FamilySearch.
- Skilled in the use of standard desktop software including Word, and Excel.
- Experience with software and system testing is beneficial along database and workflow management is a plus.
- Able to keep confidence and appropriately deal with sensitive data and documents.
- Ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Effective communication with clients, upper management, and team members.
- Address challenges related to daily operations.
