About The Position
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift Details : M-F 8a-5p (No OT)
Required Certifications : CBSPD, CRCST / HSPA, AHA BLS
Preferred Certifications : CER HSPA, CIS HSPA, CSIS CBSPD
Scrub Details : Royal blue scrubs
Call Requirements : 6 days / month, 1 weekend / month
Unit Size : 4 inpatient Operating Rooms, 5 outpatient operating rooms, 2 outpatient endoscopy rooms
Other Required Skills :
- Preparing and delivering clean and sterilized instruments
- Sterilizing, wrapping, organizing medical equipment and surgical instruments
- Laying out surgical gloves and gowns
- Collecting and cleaning contaminated medical equipment
- Operating and monitoring sterilization equipment
- Maintaining records of sterilization procedures
- Reordering medical and surgical supplies
- Decontamination experience - Manual and Mechanical HLD
- Assembly experience - Competent in handling medical devices and instruments
- General instrumentation including laparoscopic instruments
- Sterilization experience - Steam and Low Temperature Sterilization
- Dental tray assembly experience
