About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 2 years minimum experience required

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Charge experience
• Experience in patient ratio management
• Charting system experience

Description :

Provide patient care in an ICU setting.

Manage patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.

Administer IV therapy and blood products.

Care for ventilated patients and assist with their management.

Perform neurological assessments and CVA / acute stroke management.

Participate in weekend rotations.

Contribute to the interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.

Assist with various procedures including chest tube insertion / removal.

Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.

Utilize advanced equipment and protocols in patient management.

Maintain high standards of infection prevention and use of PPE.

Cover every other weekend and holiday as part of the role.

Engage in patient education and family support.

Document nursing care and patient responses accurately.

Facilitate effective communication between healthcare team members.

Be adaptable to float to Med / Surg or Tele units when necessary.

Involved in crisis management and rapid response situations.

Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives for professional development.

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines in patient care.
