About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Washington. This position is set to begin on Nov 3, 2025, and offers a 120-day contract, working Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role involves managing a mix of complex chronic and low acuity cases with 20-minute clinic appointments.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving complex chronic conditions and low acuity cases
  • Conduct patient appointments lasting 20 minutes, ensuring thorough and efficient care
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR to document and manage patient information
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
  • Prior experience with FQHCs preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and strong computer literacy
