Tech & Data Associate (2 -5 Years)

Overview :
Fredrikson is seeking to hire an associate attorney in our Data Protection, Cyber Security and Technology + Data Group with 2-5 years of experience with a law firm or in-house.
Ideal Candidates Will Have :
- 2-5 years of experience with a law firm and / or in-house.
- Practice primarily focused on data privacy compliance and security incident response / planning a plus.
- Deep familiarity with, and experience advising companies regard, comprehensive privacy laws, including the CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, CTDPA, GDPR, etc.
- CIPP certification preferred.
- Experience drafting and reviewing data processing agreements, information security agreements, software, SaaS, and IP and IT license, development and services agreements.
- Strong academic background.
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota.
