About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team in anywhere in CA. This role is ideal for attorneys with 1-5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense, looking to advance their careers in a firm that emphasizes mentorship, manageable caseloads, and a dynamic work environment.
We take pride in keeping caseloads reasonable, having a low attorney-to-assistant ratio, and utilizing technology to create a flexible and efficient work environment.
Position Details
- Location : anywhere in CA (remote or hybrid)
- Pay : $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a reasonable caseload with autonomy and support
- Take depositions, including cross-examinations and witness interviews
- Represent clients in hearings and perform law and motion practice
- Maintain clear and responsive client communications
- Provide high-quality legal work, including drafting reports for insurance carriers
The Ideal Candidate
- 1-5 years experience in workers' compensation defense
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong advocacy and communication skills, capable of working independently
- Able to take depositions and handle hearings with minimal supervision
- Eager to develop their expertise and grow within a dynamic team
