Hours32-40 hours / week Mon thru Friday (flexible work Sat or Sun to make up for taking weekday off or we may occasionally ask you to work on a Sat or Sun in exchange for weekday off or extra pay).
10am to 6pm with intermediate breaks or 10am to 7pm w 1 hour lunch break & intermediate breaks - can use small upstairs guest bedroom for breaks.
$150 per day will be paid in addition to salary if house sitting.Vacation2 weeks paid vacation please schedule head of time.
Job DutiesHousekeepingMainly just doing what’s needed to keep the house clean and organized as best as possible (keeping in mind we have four dogs and a cat).
o Make master bedroom bed daily.o Wash dishes as needed.o Organize & put things away as needed.o Vacuum carpets as neededo Mop floors as neededo Dust as neededo Do laundry as neededo Clean porches, patios and patio furniture as needed.
o Clean / organize garage on occasiono Etc.Help Take Care of Dogs and Cato Feed dogs & cat every late afternoon / early evening.
o Let the dogs out as needed.o Check water bowls several times a day and fill with clean water as needed.o Help take dogs or cat to vet as needed.
We’re dog people and our dogs are equal members of our family. We have four dogs, a 16 year old Australian Shepard named Alex, two 8 year old rescue dogs (lab / pit bull mix) Mac and Luna who are brother and sister, and a 5 year old Japanese Akita named LowKey.
We also have a Bengal cat named Cheetah who thinks he’s a dog, and gets along with all of the dogs.LowKey and Alex do not get along and must always be kept separated (they used to get along but not anymore), so we keep them in separate areas of the house and let them outside at separate times.
We’ll be home most of the time and normally take care of the pets, but having some help would be nice, and we especially would like to be able to go on vacation or travel and have someone available to housesit and take care of them.
