About The Position
Great PA Psychiatry opportunity for Vacancy / Maternity
Leave coverage starting 10 / 1 / 24 or ASAP to 12 / 31 / 24.
One provider requested.
Inpatient - Acute Psych unit / institute, Long-term Psych
Facility, Sub-acute unity / residential
Scheduled Clinical Hours + Beeper Call
Dates Needed :
Oct 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23
More dates to follow.
Shift : Mon. - Fri. 8a-4p regular
Sat. / Sun. 8a-4p regular + 4p-8a call
Call : 1-2 days per week; 3 days on occasion
Possible weekend call needed.
Call Response : 30 min.
Daily ave. Consults : 3-5; Follow-ups 5-6
Ave. Call #s Per 24 Hrs :
Phone Consults : 2-4
Pt. Seen : 10-15
Inpatient unit - 29 beds, census currently capped at 21
On call weekdays by phone from 5 pm until 8 am the
following morning.
On call weekends round on psychiatric units and see
new consultations in the ED and med / surg on Saturday
and Sunday.
Both Rounding : Adult, DEM, consults
Mid-levels assist with new evals & summaries.
Trauma Level 1 Facility
No teaching or supervision required.
EMR : EPIC
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form
Malpractice insurance provided.
