- Apply professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.- Utilize knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
- Administer patient care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.- Ensure a safe work environment by recognizing common safety hazards and precautions.
- Apply and modify principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing for ongoing patient care.- Prepare and maintain accurate records and write reports as necessary.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, and the public.- Analyze situations and apply critical thinking skills.
- Communicate clearly and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.- Engage in frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, and frequent lifting / moving of patients.
- Handle exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue and potential exposure to infectious materials in a healthcare environment.
- Work under stressful conditions, deadlines, or irregular hours as required.- Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations based on department needs.
Education : Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing; BSN preferred Languages : Fluent in English (Speak, Read, Write)
