Job Title : Warehouse Associate
2nd Shift Opportunity : Monday-Friday 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm
Job Description
- Loading and unloading
- Measuring and converting inches to feet
- Counting carts of carpet and other flooring material
- Use paper pick sheet to pick product
- After product is picked, mark off list and prepare for shipment
- Cutting carpet to specific sizes per customer specifications
- Maintaining a clean working environment; cleaning, sweeping, taking out of trash
Skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Math Skills*
Work Environment
- Fully on-site position in Landover, MD
- Small warehouse team of 7 workers in various departments
- Section 1 houses the larger carpet roles that need to be cut
- Section 2 houses the trim needed to lay, padding, and rolls that will be loaded and shipped
- Section 3 houses several cutting machines
