Description
SUMMARY
- Short Term (6-12 Months) Work directly with the Product Manager to design and drive innovation allowing for further proliferation of the NIM service within current and future Armada clients.
- On Going Lead a team of NIM Demand & Inventory Planners with a vision for continued innovation of the offering while achieving required KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with the Product Manager, assess and benchmark services / costing to ensure Armada maintains the position of a market leader
- Demonstrate thought leadership to allow the NIM team to resolve immediate needs while designing systems and process for future success
- Working directly with the Product Manager, design and publish SOPs to support delivery and execution of the service in the market
- Assist in the development and implementation of a Multi Enterprise S&OP process that supports delivery of the NIM service to our clients
- Achieve and exceed client defined SKU Fill-Rate while operating within location specific inventory footprint constraints
- Engage with PRO leadership to assess / evaluate technology solutions do drive NIM forward
- IE - implement current and marketplace solutions for Single Source of Demand and Backward Propagation
- Engage directly with clients to identify and resolve short term constraints while expanding the solution
- Lead the Development of automated solutions for :
- Network strategy for end of life items
- Automated process for master data management across the clients entire supply chain
- AI Development for Demand Planning
- Automated touchless Sales Order Generation
- Develop and manage to relevant KPIs to support and measure the business.
- Frequent interaction with Account Management and clients will require becoming a trusted advisor to the network
- Become super user of JDA planning platform
- Interact as necessary with other departments (Transportation, Warehouse Ops, Finance, Engineering) to provide insight relevant to their respective areas while driving implementation of new tools
- Participate in and support new customer integration activities
- Initiate process improvements for the end to end supply chain
- Lead or participate on project teams as required
- Root cause network disruptions and provide corrective action internally and externally when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirement
Minimum :
- 6+ years of supply chain industry experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics or related field.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, complex solution design / development projects for clients
- Comprehensive understanding of Inventory Management, Demand and Supply Planning, demonstrated client facing abilities and trusted advisor relationship building.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating cross functionally with internal stakeholders and customers.
Preferred :
- 10+ years of supply chain industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Planning technology, specifically JDA / Blue Yonder Demand and Fulfill technologies (or previous generation products like i2, Manugistics, etc)
- Strong business acumen specifically related to the development and implementation of supply chain, inventory management, and procurement processes and related best practices
- Innovation focus and intellectual curiosity that supports a what is possible philosophy around problem solving and solution development
- Excel, Access, Cognos, miscellaneous systems experience to assist in highly analytic activity
- Industry Certifications in Supply Chain, project management, or process improvement (E.G. APICs, CSCM, PMP, Six Sigma, etc)
Language and technical skills requirement
- Understanding of demand planning terms and concepts
- Understanding of general logistics terms and concepts
- Experience and understanding of ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent problem solving ability with demonstrated experiences of managing with facts not emotion
- Excellent communication skills including listening, written, oral and group presentation
- Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization

- Ability to travel approximately 15% of normal work schedule
- Location is Pittsburgh or Remote Work Arrangement (Willingness for eventual relocation to Corporate HQ in Pittsburgh, PA is desired)
