• Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026)\n
• Patient Ratio : 4 : 1\n
• Number of Beds : 15\n
• Electronic Health Record : MedHost\n
• Dress Code : Navy or Black Scrubs\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780 - $1910\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required\n
• Ability to float to Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit as needed\n
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations preferred\n
• Preferred : Experience with pediatric care, stroke, and myocardial infarction (MI) patients\n\nPCU RN Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Progressive Care Unit\n
• Monitor and assess patients with acute and chronic conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac issues\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans\n
• Accurately document patient information in MedHost Electronic Health Record (EHR) system\n
• Float to Med Surg unit as required to support patient care needs\n
