Position Overview :

The Travel PT will evaluate, rehabilitate, and manage patients with physical functioning disorders and / or wound care. The therapist develops individualized plans of care using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate, screen, and provide rehabilitation services to patients.

Administer therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.

Assess patient progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes for effectiveness.

Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers.

Communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with supervisors and team members.

Document all regulatory and clinically required information in electronic systems and maintain patient records according to policy.

Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences.

Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.

Adhere to APTA standards, state practice acts, code of conduct, and professional ethics.

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of PT experience – required

LTC or Rehab experience – required

MO State License – required

New graduates accepted with Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation)
