Provides paralegal support to the Office of Oversight Liaison and Counsel (OLC) attorneys and senior management. This position works independently on assignments related to SEC Oversights, Access Requests and Confidential Treatment Requests under the supervision of the OLC attorneys.
Essential Job Functions :
- Drafts correspondence related to SEC and other government agency requests, summarizes and creates matrices of complex requests and productions, submits responses to SEC requests, prepares analysis of points of law and regulatory agreements, assists with drafting and editing policies, procedures and training materials, prepares metrics, for the review, approval, and use by attorneys.
- Supports attorneys by proofreading, editing, formatting, and finalizing legal correspondence through to execution, as well as quality assurance reviews, at all times exhibiting a diligent and meticulous approach to detail.
- Tracks performance and drafts summary outcomes of programs monitored by OLC attorneys.
- Assists with government production file management administration activities.
- Assists in tracking and reporting of key performance indicators and other metrics and data used for management and Board reporting.
Education / Experience Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of legal office experience as a paralegal.
- Paralegal certificate, or the equivalent, preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal or compliance preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills required.
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills required.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite products (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
Work Conditions :
- Must use a computer daily. Some extended hours may be required.
- Work is normally performed in a hybrid office environment.
- Must possess ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Washington, DC / Maryland : Minimum Hourly Rate $37.94, Maximum Hourly Rate $67.65
Colorado / Hawaii / Minnesota / Vermont : Minimum Hourly Rate $32.96, Maximum Hourly Rate $58.84
New York, NY : Minimum Hourly Rate $39.52, Maximum Hourly Rate $70.63
