Business Analyst

Qualitest is looking for Business Analyst on-site in Mexico City or in Austin!

You will be part of a team of QA engineers, developers, pre-sales, and project managers to help optimize software for certain locales and languages to finally deliver the right product in the locale.

The Business Analyst (BA) will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Lens technical teams to understand, analyze, and document business processes and requirements.

This role involves gathering, validating, and translating business requirements and workflows in formal process documentation.

The BA will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering : Engage with business stakeholders to gather and define detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews.

Process Analysis : Analyze and model current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, optimization, or automation.

Documentation : Create detailed functional specifications, business process flows, use cases, and system requirements documentation for technical teams.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience : 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a cross-functional business environment.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
