Job Summary

This position will support divisional strategy and planning for national network solutions with a focus on program management activities for Select and HPN networks by providing network consultation with Sales and Account Management, facilitating updates to existing network strategy structure, and ensuring resolution of escalated operational issues with partner Blues plans and BCBSA.

This position is also responsible for supporting a broad array of initiatives for National Network solutions, including execution of the business plan and strategy for national provider networks, as well as ad hoc analytic projects;

interfacing with various business teams to achieve goals and desired outcomes, and developing a thorough understanding of business needs and coordinating them with the overall HCSC strategy.

Through close partnership with internal and external business leadership, this role will assist in coordinating strategy development, network performance evaluations, and oversight of business functions required for compliance.

By developing an understanding of Large Group client needs, this team member will also be viewed as a subject matter expert for assigned network solutions, maintaining a dashboard of key metrics and supporting sales RFP responses for assigned network solutions.

Required Job Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in strategic planning, market research, product development or network management in health care industry OR Masters / Professional Degree and 3 year of experience strategic planning, market research, product development or network management in health care industry OR 6 year of experience strategic planning, market research, product development or network management in health care industry.
• Organization, prioritization, problem solving skills.
• Ability to drive consensus and influence at various levels of the organization.
• Experience managing projects requiring problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
• Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal communication skills to work across departments, present findings and status of projects, build relationships and garner information from various sources.
• Experience interacting with staff / management across multiple departments and levels.
• Experience conducting business analysis and / or wide-ranging research initiatives.
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
• Presentation and group facilitation experience.
• PC experience to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Job Qualifications :

Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.

Base Pay Range

$53,500.00 - $118,100.00
