Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master

Location : Fully Remote Salary Range : $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus benefits

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within software project teams and will be adept at leading and managing project requirements through the Agile lifecycle.

This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, SMEs, and end-users to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage project requirements through the Agile lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and end-users to understand, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements using Jira, Confluence, and VersionOne.
• Conduct data analytics to improve system functionalities and efficiency using SQL, Palantir, and other analytics tools.
• Develop comprehensive Use Cases, Traceability Matrices, and Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and secure approvals.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, project teams, and technology teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Utilize a variety of project management tools such as Azure Boards, ServiceNow Agile Development, and Tableau for efficient project execution and data visualization.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within software project teams.
• Certified Scrum Master with demonstrated success in enhancing team efficiency and project delivery speed.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, SQL, HTML, and Salesforce.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS), Power BI, and knowledge of ServiceNow is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data mining and security compliance under standards such as FISMA, OMB, and FedRAMP.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and technical teams.
• Public Trust Security Clearance or equivalent as required for federal contracting roles.

Education and Certifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field from an accredited university.
• Scrum Alliance Scrum Master Certification.
• Additional certifications in Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, SAFe Agile, CompTIA Security+, and AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.
