Nurse Supervisor-Night shift

We are currently seeking an RN Supervisor (11p-7a)

This candidate will join a wonderful team and help create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies.

Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure that a sufficient number of CNA's, LPN's and / or registered nurses are available for your tour of duty to ensure that quality care is maintained.
Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.

Report findings to the Director.

Monitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of nursing care personnel are on duty at all times.
Inform nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
Review medication cards for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop order policies.
Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations

Qualifications and Skills

Experience as an RN Supervisor
At least two years experience in long-term care
Good clinical and assessment skills
Great communication and people skills
Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
Valid RN and CPR certification
A hands-on approach
