We are currently seeking an Auto / Diesel Technician for our Marshfield, WI location.

$20 - $35 / hr

Candidates must be WILLING to obtain CDL B License, Passenger Endorsement, and School Bus Endorsement

Job Description :

The fleet mechanic repairs and maintains all company vehicles, buses, motor coaches, and support equipment. There is an emphasis on gasoline engines, however, diesel knowledge is beneficial.

  • Repair and inspect vehicles with an emphasis on preventivemaintenance.
  • Accurately record all work in fleet management software.
  • Ensureoperation of maintenance equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer'sinstructions.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and schedule repairs. This includes all shop and facility equipment.
  • Maintains safe working conditions by keeping areas of the shop clean and free of unneededitems.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish jobresults.

    • Requirements :

  • 21+ years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Candidates must be WILLING to obtain CDL B License, Passenger Endorsement, and School Bus Endorsement
  • This job requires a combination of standing, sitting, climbing, bending, and walking.
  • Excellent visual and auditory skills for inspections andsafety.
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs at least once perday.
  • Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment and take direction fromsupervisors.
