Maintenance Technician - Entry Level
Compensation : This role is budgeted for $18.32 - $22.00 / hr.
Job Description :
Supports facilities staff by performing maintenance duties such as conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction.
Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs. Performs General Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and operations maintenance for all equipment used in the Distribution center environment.
Responsibilities :
- Follow the PM maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
- Supports facilities staff by performing maintenance duties such as conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction.
- Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manual.
- Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.
- Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs
- General Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and operations maintenance for all equipment used in the Distribution center environment.
Shift Details : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm.
Minimum Qualifications :
1+ years of related experience
Critical Skills :
- Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and replace them.
- Some knowledge of conveyor maintenance, minor maintenance of office equipment, electrical projects, and light construction.
- Some knowledge of voltage and AC / DC circuitry and troubleshooting
- Some knowledge of electrical schematics
- Some knowledge of aligning bearings, shafts, and drives
- Some knowledge of tension, belts, and chains
Working Conditions :
- Production environment
- Closely monitored and legally compliant regulations
Physical Requirements :
- 100% standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
