Job Description
The RadioTherapy Systems Senior Product Manager role is responsible for strategic and tactical leadership of software applications products within Accuray's product portfolio, from new product innovation through commercialization and retirement.
This position is based in Madison WI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide upstream / product lifecycle leadership for the brand
- Leadcommercial input and deliverables related to new product development and lifecycle management including the target product profile, pricing recommendations, development of key claims, marketing strategy and analysis of project commercial value
- Collaborate with Research and Development (R&D) to analyze and communicate the impact of decision-making and changes as projects progress in development.
- Deliver market and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
- Advocate for the Voice of the Customer in decision making with R&D regarding the Product Roadmap and target product profile decision-making
- Work with the Marketing Communications team to develop marketing materials, communications and other promotional deliverables.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market product launch plans, working with all functional areas on readiness and execution.
- Create core positioning and messaging for the product.
- Select and support beta and / or pilot programs with early-stage products.
- Be an expert with respect to the competition.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Required :
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the medical device or healthcare software industry
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time
Preferred or Desired :
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Marketing Manager in the radiation oncology community preferred
- MBA preferred
- Clinical or technical background, with experience in radiation therapy or radiosurgery, considered highly advantageous
PAY TRANSPARENCY
The range for this position is $123,000 - $168,500. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus.
