The Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services (NITES) program effort is in direct support of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) / United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).

NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America.

Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other commands.

NITES provides a full spectrum of enterprise IT services and management. Services provided will implement, among other DoD initiatives, zero trust at every level.

HOW A IT PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTProvides project management for transformational and enterprise IT projects including development, test (pre-production), and production activities.

Gathers and validates project requirements.Creates project plans, WBS, schedules, and performs resource management.Creates and maintains project schedules and project documentation.

Manages and monitors project activities throughout the project lifecycle. Provides proactive risk management and project reporting including briefing leadership as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position.Required Experience : 5+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills and Certification : Appropriately certified for their designated role in accordance with DoD 8140.

01.Possesses a DoD 8140.01 approved baseline certification or higher.Security Clearance Level : DoD Secret Clearance RequiredLocation : Colorado Springs, CO.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
