The NACF Central Ops Organization is looking for a candidate to join the team as a program lead for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts specifically working with the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team.

Our organization’s mission is to raise the bar on Amazon’s customer experience by delivering holistic solutions that facilitate the effective and efficient movement of products through our supply chain.

In this role, you will closely partner with the WW Consumer DEI team to enable the Global DEI strategy and play an instrumental role in building scalable programs and development initiatives to drive a diverse and inclusive culture within the RME team.

This PM will regularly engage with the organization’s executive leaders in RME in written form and verbally.

This role will maintain current programs, as well as build others from the bottom up to achieve long-term results and sustained impact.

You will responsible for creating DE&I programs & initiatives that focus on the following pillars :

Community Outreach : In 2021, Amazon added two leadership principles, one of which is Success and Scale Bring Broad Responsibility.

In parallel, our organization developed a tenet highlighting that we leverage our unique skillsets and network perspective to drive both incremental and step-level change through sustainability, diversity, inclusion and community partnership initiatives.

This pillar will support developing opportunities to support our communities throughout the world where or teams live and work.

You will deploy internal / external DEI training solutions to enhance the organizational culture by embedding best in class practices into all leadership, management and soft skills training.

Key job responsibilities

  • Operationalize and scale programs.
  • Consistently and effectively lead project management and creative program development across a variety of mediums.
  • Manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • Manage the variety of responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and improvement opportunities.
  • Influence work across a complex matrix and build relationships
  • Influence others without direct authority to achieve solutions to meet RME organization’s objectives
  • Motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups.
  • Clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and management.

This role will partner with corporate / field operations, central DEI, Learning and Development, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders from the RME L8 Leadership (Rick Wielbruda, Khaled El Dorry, & Govind Singh) to build DEI learning and professional development curriculum.

You will deploy innovative solutions to effectively address both organizational and team specific skill gaps.

A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
