Amazon Games is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager III to join our Technical Operations group and drive the lifecycle of complex, high-impact, cross-functional programs.
In this vital role, you will manage comprehensive initiatives spanning multiple game franchises, organizations, and geographies.
You will own the strategy and overall delivery for 3 teams within the Technical Operations group, aligning business and technical stakeholders to achieve major objectives.
You will work closely with 3 teams and broadly across Amazon Games.
Key job responsibilities
- Define the vision, mission, objectives and measurable success criteria for your programs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps aligned to organizational goals
- Analyze data to identify improvements and drive quantified results through metrics
- Facilitate integration across dependent teams through documentation, solutions and processes
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively before they become roadblocks
- Make informed trade-offs balancing time, effort, features and technical constraints
- Ensure alignment of architecture scalability with long-term "think big" product visions at an Amazon scale
- Streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies across teams and systems
- Effectively communicate progress, outcomes and present strategic plans to leadership
- Mentor other program managers and provide constructive feedback across roles

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Experience developing and executing / delivering product and technical roadmaps
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience defining KPI's / SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
