C aregivers will follow a preplanned daily care schedule, one on one, in the comfort of the clients home.

HCAN offers paid training to all caregivers , which will cover all of the following responsibilities.
Caregiver Responsibilities :
- Build rapport with our clients; engage in conversation and provide companionship
- Follow a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and medication reminders
- Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care (bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating)
- Monitor and report changes in physical and mental health behavior, and needs
- Ensure the clients home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place
- Assist with some light housework and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Mobility assistance may be required (helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair)
- Transport or escort the client to medical and other appointments / errands
- Position may include caring for clients with dementia
Caregiver Requirements :
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma (preferred)
- Possess a valid driver's license and liability auto insurance coverage
- Have a professional and friendly attitude
- Enjoy spending time with seniors!
