Electro Mechanical Technician
Role Overview :
Custom Building Products, the leading manufacturer of floor setting materials nationwide , has an opening for a daytime 1st shift Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician at our Lithia Springs facility.
This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting are the primary functions of this position. Some additional duties include repairing of processing equipment, preventive / predictive maintenance, completing all daily work orders assigned, and assisting with day-to-day line calls, repairs, projects and / or capital projects.
This is a fulltime Monday to Friday position which will require overtime. Schedule is subject to change. We offer competitive benefits and compensation, plus an increase after 90 days.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and repair all packaging, processing, and plant equipment.
- Respond appropriately to all line calls. Contribute and participate in the installation of projects and / or capital expenditures.
- Communicate daily regarding work order status, project / status and shift reporting.
- Confer with Production employees to identify equipment operational problems and repetitive issues.
- Maintain proper paperwork (work orders, reports, and shift reports) by using share point system to properly record data.
- Organize and maintain shop areas and parts areas. Record all parts removed from inventory daily.
- Ensure preventive maintenance on all machinery.
- Install electrical systems e.g. conduit, wire, enclosures, contactors, relays, photo eyes and switches.
- Follow directions and function as a multi-skilled team member, performing tasks involving electrical and mechanical skills as required.
