Flexjet, a leading provider of fractional private jet ownership and leasing, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Global Marketing Department as the Full Stack Website Developer.

This person will not just write code but bring Flexjet’s sophisticated brand ethos to life digitally. They will have a broad and versatile coding skill set and can develop functional and appealing web and mobile based applications.

They should be able to take prototypes and ideas developed by Studio One, the internal creative services team, and efficiently build those ideas into reality.

This position will work collaboratively with the digital team’s Front-End developer, the IT department as well as serve sister brands within the Directional Aviation family of companies.

Flexjet offers an array of private jets - some of the most modern in the fractional jet industry. Flexjet’s clients include corporations and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Red Label by Flexjet is a key differentiator that offers flight crews dedicated to a single aircraft and over 40 different interior designs under the LXi Cabin Collection of interiors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with graphic design, product marketers, developers and other internal stakeholders to scope, create wireframes, prototypes and development requirements for website experiences and framework.
• Develop, implement and test front-end and back-end web code. Perform quality assurance to ensure web experiences operate according to scope and compliance.
• Ability to write code in a high-paced and challenging environment with an emphasis on using best practices to develop high-quality software that meets project requirements, budget and schedule.
• Manage ongoing website security to prevent breaches and implement ongoing fixes within found vulnerabilities.
• Extensive knowledge in managing, building and implementing custom API’s, ETL Pipelines and databases.
• Ability to create customized code to ensure the website and its sister platforms function as one environment.
• Create and optimize our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
• Proactively scope and present new abstract ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads and customers.
• Write code and implement graphics, effects, animations, functions and features to the website as supplied by the marketing department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline preferred, or an Associate's Degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries including HTML / CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, React, Angular, Next JS
• 5+ years’ experience with multiple back-end languages including PHP, Node.js, Python, Java.
• Familiarity with databases and frameworks including CDP, CRM, BI, ADO, AWS, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GITHub, Bash Shell Scripting.
• Experience in WordPress and WPE Servers required, while a comfort with headless CMS platforms such as Prismic preferred.
• Domain expertise in UI / UX best practices. You are a problem solver with an understanding that everything you develop is to improve our site’s experience and drive action.
• Experience developing for responsive cross-device platforms.
• Ability to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, fanatical attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Passion for marketing and can incorporate B2B / B2C digital marketing best practices and marketing technology expertise into development projects.
• Innovative and strategic thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change and opportunity to help Flexjet evolve into a digital industry leader.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a cross functional team environment.
• 5% travel is expected.
• Must work from our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH. This position is 35% work from home.
