- Assist in executingtreatment plans directed by the PhysicalTherapist.
- Maintain cleardocumentation of patient care using medical terminologyaccurately.
- Ensure treatment areasand equipment meet OSHAstandards.
- Communicate patientprogress effectively with the careteam.
- Complete Medicare and OSHAcompliance trainingannually.
- Participate in staffmeetings and continuing education to meet licensurerequirements.
- Maintain current CPRcertification.
Skills & PhysicalRequirements
- Teamworktime management and organizationalskills.
- Ability to lift 50 poundsand perform physical tasks throughoutshifts.
- Clear communication andcomprehension skills for working with patients andstaff.
- Fine motor skills formanaging equipment and patientscheduling.
Qualifications
- Graduateof a CAPTEaccredited PTA program orequivalent.
- Current state licenseregistration or certification as aPTA.
