Senior Electrical Engineer

CONMED is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer who can help develop new products for Advanced Surgical’s R&D team in Denver, CO .

This engineer will have immediate opportunities to contribute to new product development with a focus on minimally invasive surgical technologies designed to deliver real benefits to surgeons, hospitals and their patients.

Advanced Surgical Products Include

• Advanced insufflation systems
• Advanced energy systems
• Electrosurgical units (ESU’s)
• Laparoscopic surgical instruments

Responsibilities

• Designing new circuits to be used in capital and disposable equipment
• Performing design simulations on electrical designs
• Writing technical documentation and project documentation
• Prototyping new electrical designs and doing board bring-up
• Assisting with board layout or performing board layout as required
• Designing RF Amplifiers and or power supplies

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or highly related
• 8+ years engineering work experience required, preference placed on experience in the development and release of new products
• Understanding of analog signals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF Amplifiers and power supplies
• Experience with Altium or related
• Experience writing technical documents such as protocols and reports
• Experience in the Medical Device Industry or related regulated industry
• Experience with electronic disposables
• Experience with high-volume disposables

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$160,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.

The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
