Job Summary
JAH Realty, Owner and Manager of 19 commercial properties in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex is seeking a maintenance associate to oversee our Central Metroplex properties.
This position requires someone who can work on construction projects and perform maintenance at all assigned properties.
The qualified candidate will possess the following skills and abilities :
- Have general maintenance and repair experience, with an overall knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Possess people skills for interaction with tenants, coworkers, and vendors
- Perform routine preventive maintenance; including painting, light bulb and ceiling tile replacement, pot hole repairs, door & window adjustment.
- Willing to do whatever maintenance tasks are required
- Be responsive to calls to address needs at any of our metroplex area properties, which will occasionally be after hours
- Have reliable transportation to travel to properties, with the ability to transport tools, ladder, ice melt, etc. (gas and mileage expenses reimbursed)
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Meet deadlines and detail-oriented
- Have basic computer skills; know how to use and work a mobile phone to receive and send emails, etc.
